Always have a rich diet which should include good source of calcium like yogurt, cheese, milk, leafy vegetables, Salmon, orange juice & eggs. Nails are made up of protein hence to ensure proper nail growth there should not be deficient in protein or vitamin b –biotin. One should have plenty of nutrients in food which will help your nails from dry and brittle to strong and healthy.
Every night before sleeping you can rub Coconut oil on nails and massage it. This will make your nails stronger. Let it be for whole night. It will also help them grow shiny.
Warm an Olive oil and let it cool down and massage it regularly on nails and cuticles. Keep out the change in weather as when you shift from office to home or vice versa and when you go out there is change in temperature which can cause your nail cell to contract and expand repetitively which will cause between the cells and leading to breakage. Outdoor weather like winter can rough on your nails, skin. Also summer season can make your nails brittle. In winter you can wear gloves and you can moisturize ski of your hands and your nails.
Though it might sound strange but garlic has good effect n your nails. Garlic is good for overall health. And to make use of it on nails you have to cut a garlic in half and rub the inside part on nails which has little juice in it. Garlic has natural nail strengtheners and hardeners which helps the people having brittle nails. Garlic has rich source of selenium which helps in promoting good nail growth. Some tips: – Apply base coating on your nails as if you don’t apply base coating, you might get nail paint stain on your nails or your nails become rough. So apply base coating on your nails. Then apply your favorite nail paint.
